Throw yourself into the mystical Belize jungle with this 5-night package at Mystic River Jungle Resort, a full-service resort with an open-air restaurant, newly rebuilt Palapa Bar, a brand-new swimming pool with a separate 2-foot-deep kiddie pool close by, a spa with splash pool, yoga deck, and luxurious accommodations all nestled on a steep bank of the beautiful Macal River. In this oasis of privacy, serenity and rejuvenation, there are no crowds, just the soothing sound of birds, rustling trees, soft breezes and breath-taking views. You will enjoy a great mix of what the Belize jungle has to offer on this trip.
Your trip will be full of fun and exciting excursions with plenty of time to enjoy the property of Mystic River and have a nice couples massage. You will tour the famous Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave (aka – the ATM Cave), notable for skeletons, ceramics, and stoneware, an excursion that is a must do while in Belize. You will also canoe down the Macal River to San Ignacio Town where you will meet a tour guide and visit the local market, followed by a tour the Mayan archeological site of Xunantunich, and finishing up with a visit to Ajaw chocolate to learn about chocolate making. You will experience the picturesque jungle while taking a 3 hour horseback ride on the trails around Mystic River. Lastly, you will experience one of the best waterfalls in Belize – Big Rock Falls – definitely a favorite amongst many.
*Complimentary on-site activities at Mystic River include enjoying several swimming pools, hiking on a network of trails, kayaking and canoeing in front of the property on the river, use of river tubes, yoga deck (staff will set up yoga deck for you with mats, blocks, towels, and water). Guests also receive a complimentary birding walk from 7:00 – 8:00 am.

Local ground transfer to Mystic River Resort
Mystic River, Cloud9 Suite with king bed and private plunge pool, five nights
Continental Breakfast and Dinner daily
ATM Cave (full day, includes lunch)
Canoe to San Ignacio Town, visit the local market, then tour Xunantunich, followed by Ajaw Chocolates (full day, includes lunch)
