At Naia Resort and Spa you will find secluded beachfront and lush landscapes within the private 220-acre community of Cocoplum. The spa reflects the free-spirited nature of the resort, and also features a fully equipped fitness center, plus a yoga and movement studio overlooking a tranquil lagoon. Your complimentary resort activities include resort pools, kayaks, paddle boards, bicycles and the fitness center.
You will experience a morning at the Ixcacao Chocolatier, and see cacao growing on trees and learning about its cultivation. Maya hot chocolate and other delicious chocolate samples will be served while observing the process of making chocolate from bean to bar using heirloom stone tools. You will also enjoy a traditional Mayan lunch featuring chocolate chicken and rice along with steamed vegetables. After leaving Ixcacao you will spend the afternoon cooling off at a jungle waterfall nestled in the picturesque hills of the Maya King Ranch.
Another great day you will hop aboard a luxury catamaran for a leisurely sail in style out to a nearby caye. Soak in the seabreeze while your capable and friendly crew raises the sails and plies you with cold beverages. Once at the island either relax or go for a guided snorkel tour. Enjoy a beach barbecue before raising the sails once more as you head west toward the setting sun over Placencia.
